We are recruiting: we are hiring an electrical technician in Borough of Oldham, England. You will work at a busy electrical contractor. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Willing to do shift work and breakdown call-outs • Normal colour vision for cable identification Day-to-day duties: • Crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands • Size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop • Replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings • Isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working • Pull and terminate cables in conduit and cable trays • Dress and terminate wiring inside control panels Rotating shifts.
