Road roller operator wanted in Haines Borough

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a road roller operator in Haines Borough, Alaska. You will be based at a landfill site. Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Day-to-day duties: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
