Canteen cook • Kennebec County, Maine

Vacancy available: we are hiring a canteen cook in Kennebec County, Maine. You will work at a fast-food outlet. On the job you will handle: • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch You should have: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience.
