Tower crane operator — East Riding of Yorkshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tower crane operator in East Riding of Yorkshire, England. You will work on a busy construction site. You will read and interpret the load chart before every lift; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift.
