Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Jasper County, South Carolina. The job is on the CNC turning shop floor. On the job you will handle: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Part-time with flexible hours.
