Fabricator-welder — Bastrop County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Bastrop County, Texas. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Rotating shifts.
