The role involves stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
