Gas pipe fitter • Stevens County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Stevens County, Kansas. On a typical shift you will braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience.
