Garment presser — Missaukee County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment presser in Missaukee County, Michigan. You will be based in a garment export house. On a typical shift you will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; give each garment a final press before packing; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Overtime paid at a premium rate.
