We are recruiting: we are hiring a metal caster in Childress County, Texas. The job is on the moulding line. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts On the job you will handle: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
