We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Columbia County, Pennsylvania. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. On a typical shift you will respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; run load and overload tests with test weights; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches. You should have: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
