Groundsman — City of Suffolk

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundsman in City of Suffolk, Virginia. You will be based on the grounds of a hotel resort. The role involves: • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds You should have: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience.
