Urgent requirement: we are hiring a halal butcher in Kalawao County, Hawaii. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. Your main tasks: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights Requirements: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Full-time, day shift.
