Vacancy available: we are hiring a motor grader operator in Custer County, South Dakota. You will work at a landfill site. Requirements: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination On a typical shift you will load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels.
