Gas commissioning technician wanted in Polk County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Polk County, Nebraska. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. The role involves: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
