Immediate opening: fabricator-welder (Michigan)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Montmorency County, Michigan. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety On the job you will handle: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience.
