Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Inverclyde, Scotland. Day-to-day duties: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy What we are looking for: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Part-time with flexible hours.
