You should have: • Skilled on cutting, crimping and punching machines • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes • Familiar with ACP cladding and structural glazing The role involves punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware; drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws; check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing; fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware; anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners; cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw.
