Now hiring: we are hiring a tube and fitting scaffolder in Contra Costa County, California. You will work at a shipyard. The role involves: • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage You should have: • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold 2+ years on the tools preferred.
