Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete worker in Malheur County, Oregon. The role involves: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors What we are looking for: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
