We are recruiting: we are hiring a head butcher in Roosevelt County, New Mexico. The job is at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Your main tasks: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights Requirements: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
