Great opportunity: we are hiring a cold room technician in Matanuska-Susitna Borough, Alaska. You will work at a busy refrigeration workshop. The role involves trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; fault-find control boards and defrost timers. What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints Pay around $17 per hour, based on your experience.
