Heavy equipment operator — Panola County

What we are looking for: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Day-to-day duties: • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
