Argon welder wanted in Madison County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welder in Madison County, Missouri. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Your main tasks: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
