Fabricator-welder — Onitsha South

Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Onitsha South, Anambra State. You will be based on an industrial construction site. You will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
