Immediate opening: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Riley County, Kansas. Requirements: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Day-to-day duties: • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
