Now hiring: we are hiring a banksman in LaGrange County, Indiana. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. You will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
