Refrigeration field service technician wanted in Boyd County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Boyd County, Kentucky. You will work at a supermarket cold-chain site. Your main tasks: • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter Ideal candidate: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits.
