Semi-automatic welder wanted in Lewis County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Lewis County, Washington. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • ITI in welder trade or equivalent 1+ years on the tools preferred.
