Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site carpenter in Pulaski County, Indiana. The role involves: • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish Ideal candidate: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage 4+ years on the tools preferred.
