Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete placer in Jefferson County, Iowa. You will work at an infrastructure site. Day to day you will fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish. What we are looking for: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
