Cnc lathe operator • Wood County, Wisconsin

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Wood County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a tool room. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Day-to-day duties: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
