Now hiring: we are hiring a production welder in Osceola County, Iowa. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Day-to-day duties: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
