Foundry labourer • Hodgeman County, Kansas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Hodgeman County, Kansas. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. Your main tasks: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Rotating shifts.
