Horizontal milling machine operator • Polk County, Georgia

Now hiring: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Polk County, Georgia. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. On a typical shift you will select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. You should have: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
