Aluminium tig welder wanted in Adams County

Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Adams County, Wisconsin. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. The role involves read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. You should have: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
