Slinger signaller — Latimer County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Latimer County, Oklahoma. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. Day to day you will attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; read lift plans and method statements before starting; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
