Structural MIG welder — Greater London

We are recruiting: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Greater London, England. You will work at an automobile body shop. On the job you will handle: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around £115 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
