UPVC window fitter — Franklin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Franklin County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter What we are looking for: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads Part-time with flexible hours.
