Framing carpenter • Beaver County, Pennsylvania

Now hiring: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. You will work on a residential housebuilding project. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Your main tasks: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists Part-time with flexible hours.
