Urgent requirement: industrial sewing operator (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Adams County, Illinois. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance On the job you will handle: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
