Cold room technician — City and Borough of Wrangell

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cold room technician in City and Borough of Wrangell, Alaska. The job is at a food processing plant. Your main tasks: • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges You should have: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Valid driving licence for field call-outs We offer $160 per day plus benefits.
