Elevator service technician wanted in Moultrie County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Moultrie County, Illinois. You will work on a lift modernisation project. The role involves: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy Requirements: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Full-time with occasional weekends.
