Gas meter installer — Payette County

Join our team: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Payette County, Idaho. You will work at a boiler and appliance service centre. You will carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
