Stamping press operator • Randolph County, Illinois

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Randolph County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy press shop. Your main tasks: • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area Requirements: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
