We are recruiting: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Stanton County, Kansas. The role involves: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. $8,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
