Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Kane County, Utah. On a typical shift you will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits.
