Your main tasks: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Part-time with flexible hours.
