Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Matazu, Katsina State. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day to day you will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
