Render and set plasterer • Putnam County, Indiana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Putnam County, Indiana. You will be based in an occupied house during renovation. Day-to-day duties: • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits.
